Welcome to my website. My name is Greg Andrus. I am a Global Supply Chain student at Brigham Young University in Provo Utah. I will be graduating in December 2017 and I have three skills that I am confident will help be successful.
My first skill is Building Relationships which I demonstrated while working as a security officer by gaining the trust of not only my team but also those who I protect. Also in a corporate environment by networking with different departments to coordinate efforts and find solutions.
My second skill is Focused Result Delivery which I showed as a production intern by providing updated project timelines, and final reports. Again, as a supervising officer as I prepared reports to keep managers up to speed on our division's activities, training, and schedules.
My third skill is Data Visualization which I demonstrated while working as an intern in creating charts graphs and maps which helped explain problems and display solutions. Again, as a supervisor where I developed a new employee training presentation that outlined the position’s duties and tasks.
I know that these skills will help me successful in the business world. If you have any questions, feel free to look at my resume.
My current coursework includes: operations, logistics, purchasing, and quality management. Prior coursework includes: finance, marketing, accounting, economics, math, English, political science, film, biology, chemistry and business law.
I currently work as a security guard with the BYU Police Department at the LDS Motion Picture Studio. My responsibilities include securing buildings, maintaining the facility, special events and training new employees. I also worked last summer at Five Guys where I was promoted to manager and perfected to art of making a French Fry.
I was raised in Washington state in a small town called Battle Ground. Growing up in the Northwest I developed a love for the outdoors, and explored many of the national forests and state parks around my home. I have traveled around the world to countries like Tonga, Mexico and Canada. I have been across America having visited over half the states.
My hobbies include Baking and Photography. I have developed my baking skills to the point where I have made wedding cakes for my friends. My best cake is my chocolate triple layer triple layer cake, but my favorite item to bake are sugar cookies. I love to read and I'm working on writing my own book. My sister and I have written out a draft manuscript of our historical romance adventure "The Healer's Heart".
I hope that as you explore the website you will get to know a little bit more about me and the value I bring to companies and projects I work on.
